Joe is the Communications Director for Frederick County Young Democrats.  He was born and raised in Frederick and attended Governor Thomas Johnson High School.  After graduating in 2004, he attended the University of Maryland, where he received his B.A. degree in Government and Politics with a concentration in Political Economics.

While attending college, Joe was very active in state politics as Vice President of  Maryland Public Iinterext Research Group (PIRG).  He worked for Frederick County, Maryland Delegate Galen Clagett (D-District 3-A) at the House of Delegates for two sessions of the general assembly. Joe also participated in a summer internship program in the office of Governor Martin O'Malley. He now lives in Washington, D.C. and works at High Point Catering as an event manager and sales representative. He continues to stay active in Frederick politics.
