IMAM KHOMEINI CONFERENCE

This Saturday, 6th June 2009 - London

The AhlulBayt Islamic Mission (AIM) in association with the Sun Cultural Foundation is organising a national conference to mark the 20th Anniversary since the demise of His Eminence, the Late Imam Khomeini (RA). The event will take place on Saturday 6th June 2009 at the Islamic Centre England in Maida Vale.

Speaker Lineup:

Hujjat Al-Islam Sheikh A. H. Moezi
General representative of the Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei in Britain and the Director of the Islamic Centre of England.

Br. Iqbal Siddiqui
Islamic Researcher, former editor of Crescent International and a founding member of Institute for Contemporary Islamic Thought.

Dr. Rebecca Masterton
She completed her MA in East Asian and African Literature and went on to finish her PhD in Islamic Mystical Literature from the SOAS University of London. She teaches Islamic Spirituality at the Islamic College.

Br. Iskander Khaleeli
Having completed his BA at the Islamic College London, he later embarked on a year of further studies in Damascus, Syria. He is now undertaking his postgraduate degree in Islamic Studies.

His Excellency Mr. Rasoul Movahedian
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Kingdom.
