Dear All,
Let's Work 2gether - Workforce Development Event,
14th November 2006, Stadium of Light
Following last years launch of the Regional Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Skills Action Plan substantial work has been undertaken to produce an implementation plan to meet the outlined objectives. Many of you have been involved in discussion and consultation and this is your opportunity to be at its launch.
The event will also be a chance to hear about changes in the Learning & Skills Council in the North East and your input on the day will help to develop VCS learning opportunities in the region. There will be information tables and conversation groups to attend over the lunch period and Working Groups will run over the day on subjects such as youth work, social care (housing, substance misuse, etc), trustee/governance, provision of learning and fundraising.
It will be a chance to learn more about, and meet representatives from, your Sub-regional VCS Learning Consortium and the NE Regional VCS Skills Forum.
A final programme will be issued to all registered delegates in the next few weeks.
The event is being coordinated by Carol Beattie Associates so please book your place as soon as possible by e-mailing carol.beat...@bicne.co.uk

I hope you are able to attend this regional event "Lets Work 2gether" and I hope to see you there.
Please feel free to circulate this invitation to any of your networks or colleagues.
Best Regards
Sue
