Aiko-Gateway / Node status

Aiko is a platform for building an Internet of Things (networks of distributed devices).
Aiko-Gateway (OpenWRT router) is the communications hub of the system.
Aiko-Node (Arduino) is a collection of sensors and actuators, producing and consuming messages, an end-point of the system.
ZigBee is a mesh-networking protocol that is specifically designed for creating networks of devices.
