A locked gate has appeared at the dirt road/path known as Dangler Rd and Avalon rd, I assume that Skinner Nursery has installed this gate, it does not appear to be of Orange County quality. more of a do it yourself job.
I dont know the motive, however this is a public easement, and used buy the equine community extensively. When riding from the Fl Fish and Wildlife turtle area that runs parell to Sandhill/Windy Acres Rd  thru the equine gates, and cross 545, you are faced with a closed, locked gate with busy traffic behind you .
I have spoken to Orange County Roads & Drainage Dept 407-836-3111 (Wait for an operator to answer)and made a complaint to this blocking of a public easement, and I ask anyone else that finds this a concern to please call them as well. I have also left a message w/ Scott Boyds office 407-836-7350.
I would like the equine community to come together, and place calls to Orange County on this. a comercial business can not take it upon it's self to block a road, or public easement.
please correct me if I'm wrong.....
