Dear Avalon Neighbors,

As most of you know, my wife Patti passed away on Saturday. Patti died of an intentional overdose of prescription medication. We are all shocked and heart broken.

I want to thank you all for your wonderful outpouring of love and support. The Lake Avalon Rural Settlement  is truly a blessing to my family and me, and we feel like y'all are family to us.

Subject: Missing Cat

Has anyone seen our cat, Puff?  He has been out lately fighting because he has come home with scratches across his nose and scabs, but he has never not come home.  Puff is part Siamese with blue eyes and has  not been seen since Monday night around 7:30.

Thank you for your help.  Puff just meowed at the door to come in!  I have been calling him all day, but he never came-just like a cat!  Please let everyone know that they don't have to be on the look out for him.
