AHA! / PS:1 Jams Collage

Hello Friends, an official press release follows:

I invite you on a sonic journey...perhaps epic in nature...through a sound collage comprised of two amazing jam sessions I was fortunate to take part in back in 2010 (yeah I took my time getting around to making this..)

What we have here, is a group of fantastic people at AHA! and Pumping Station: 1 jamming their brains out, plus some sounds from the first Makers Faire in Dearborn.

In this piece, we've got many people involved, sorry to all those who I forgot...

The PS:1 jam session took place on the auspicious date 10-10-10 and Jen Savage helped us celebrate with lots of sugar intake.

Captain "Happy" Hank Krishman leads the PS:1 Band with a variety of DIY Instruments and random pithy comments in the mix. fortunately I never listen to Hank, and did hit record.

Plus a PS:1 Maker Bot plays some Tetris tunes...

Then at AHA!, Sgt. Xander and his All Hands Active Band play all manner of things.

Miss Alex Merlin Glowaski sings through her Angry Guitar Amp, Mr. Matt Endahl performs a solo on his weird electronic machine, someone on mandolin and guitar..Kaoss pad...random can rattling and whistling...Oishi provides backbeats...

Then a nice duet: Merlin and her spinny thing, and Professor Nicholas Gunzburg and his squeal box. Some angry robots at Makers Faire yelling at me, and Noam Samuel Esq. concludes the adventure.
