Anybody know where the space's flipcam went? I remember delivering it to the front desk at the art show, whence it journeyed to the back, near the end of the show. I remember someone shooting video with it, but not who it was... and now I require it!

This kind of thing really oughtn't be a secret. I donated the Flipcam so that people could use it to document AHA stuff, and part of that is being able to do so easily. Hiding it away or making it difficult to find just defeats that purpose entirely.

we really shouldn't use email to communicate ever, should we.

a) excellent choice of words, katie! NOT

b) it's obviously not a secret, we are all talking about it on a publicly viewable email list

c) I put it there because people stupidly leave the camera sitting out **on the table** and ****actual crackheads come down there**** i don't mean that the cute expression, i mean ****people who actually smoke crack for a living.*****    Gunhavers too

I have gotten things stolen from down there (an entire bag of goodies including an expensive mouse).    ***a flipcam will get stolen or turn up missing if we keep retardedly leaving it out***

choose wherever you want to keep it.  someone make a damn choice about it i don't care.  I chose the chemicals drawer because no one ever uses it or looks in there

I knew that people looking for it would ask for it and then i would promptly tell them where it is so it becomes a need-to-know basis thing.  If you have a better idea i don't care, just do it

If small expensive stuff being out is an issue, how bout in a labeled
locker in the locked locker room? (heh, LaLaLa!)

That way people'd know where it is, & it wouldn't grow legs and run away.

And Meves, I'm sure it wasn't your intention at all to be insulting in
any way, sweet and sensitive man that you are. :) But it certainly
comes across that way. And you more than most know how easily people
get offended at the slightest hint.

Wasn't trying to hide it, just keeping it from crackheads, like mark said. Sorry if my email was too informal. Long ago, the flipcam went missing for like 2 weeks. It was very inconveinient and dumb. An idea sprouted about having a signout sheet for it, and it having to return within 24 hours within signout.

Whatever happened to that story. I wanted to hear the end?
