I've shared an item with you.
Hey Gang,

MYTHLOGIC has requested a formal document stating that AHA is "relinquishing all claims, rights, or use of all DigitalOps Names, Marks, and related materials to MYTHLOGIC"

Here is a simple document stating that, along with a few other pieces. Note: I am not a lawyer. I have no clue if this document is valid / worthwhile / appropriate.

Also, I'm not sure on the status of my ability to sign a document like this on behalf of AHA. I think that might require either all of the board, or the President's signature (Dana : ).

Thoughts? Thanks!

Thanks!

Almost:)  But:

1) AHA has no use for the name.

2) Digital Ops gets to carry on as a gaming center.

3) We sell it, have a little extra money, and can focus being a hackerspace.

We could try finding a buyer for more money, but I think we are better off focusing on events, promoting ourselves, educating, etc. Spending more time on the matter is a distraction.

Unless someone specifically wants to take charge of this matter.

Agreed here. I would consider having month-to-month income at the very
least edging into desperation territory, and this sale would amount to
about half of April's profit. While I'd love to see us use the DOps
brand to its full potential, I don't think we have that kind of
bandwidth, nor will we have it any time soon. It would be most valuable
right now for us to focus on how to raise money/get more members in the
door.

Josh, for what it's worth, I think this agreement looks pretty
complete. Any board member should be able to sign it since we've voted
yes on the matter already. If nobody is able to be there earlier, I can
stop in after work on Tuesday.
