Board Meeting This Week, Wednesday, 7pm, Location TBD

Hello hello,

Time for another glorious board meeting, this Wednesday at 7pm. We've got an inquiry out to have it at Tea Haus so that we can focus more intensely on the tasks at hand and will let you all know as soon as we hear back about it.

What do we need to discuss/decide?

So far, I've got:

1) DOps purchase agreement

2) PGC recap + discussion of future swag

3) Adding member perks to make membership more tantalizing

4) How to fix the problem of no one paying for their use of the laser cutter or 3D printers

5) Outreach events (e.g., 3D printing in bars)

Whatchu got?

For the first time ever, I can't make a board meeting.

For the record:

- Support DOps purchase agreement. I trust Josh's judgment on the
betterment of the space in this regard if there's anything that comes up
not already presented in the paperwork we got.
- Good job at Penguicon, I'm assuming? Swag cool, don't spend money on
anything silly.
- Member perks? Oh yea, we were going to do that weren't we. Too bad we
don't have motivated people with skills to match up with perks that they
could provide in line with their skillset, 'cause that would be sweet.
- Fucking pay for your use of the laser cutter. We could just take the
key out of it until people ask why it can't print.
- Go outreach, cool. Don't spend money on anything silly and don't get
us banned from any place :P

Sweet, it's almost like I was there already.

In reference to Dana/Michael's suggestion - Sava's has a very nice patio, and very nice drinks, if we wanted to meet someplace like that. I think they even have a big table that we could reserve.

Another item we might discuss: Member vs. Non-Member privileges at AHA.  We're trying to add more members to AHA, but it may not seem clear what the advantage is of paying $50 a month.
