Okay. Mark it down! It's a small propane grill but it should be enough
for a small cookout/bbq probably not too hard to get to Ops. We should
probably have a rain date also.
June 23rd - 12-8PM digital modeling fabrication day ($5pp cheap!).
12 - 1pm - I show a quick refresh on Blender, Sketchup,
OpenSCAD, VCarve and InkScape.
1pm- 8pm - People take the day to model some awesome stuff on
their _own_ laptops. I'll be around to help
5pm-8pm - I'll be around to mill/laser cut or print pieces for
our normal usage costs either on our scrap or out of their material.
A nice goal would be to have 2-3 really awesome finished projects that
we can duplicate/leave in the space for showing at events. This could
also possibly produce an object using all large tools, print a block,
mill it, drill press to cut deep holes, laser engrave finished object.
June 24th - Board game day ($1-8pm, $10pp)
- Have collection of board games I'll bring (and can teach them)
- Might have to reorganize the tables down there a bit to
accommodate. I want to bring more people into the space who might have
tangential interests and see something else they like. At the same
time, I don't want to disturb people who would want to work or PC game
on this day.
- Pizza for dinner included in cost.
- Run at least one of the games up on a folding table on the
sidewalk to lure people downstairs.
- Left over cash goes to AHA.
