Penny Stamps School of Art&Design

Electronic Lunch, a weekly event for those interested in electronics and art Free, fun, open to all:
Where:Design Lab 1 in Duderstadt Center UM North Campus
When:Every Wednesday 12.30-13.30
Who: Any student, staff, or community member with an interest in the intersection between art and engineering. Members include designers, artists, engineers, architects, musicians, programmers, VJs…. Why:Electronic Lunch gives you the opportunity to collaborate with creative minds from all fields of electronics & design, and give you the tools to realize your ideas.
Meetings will include short workshops as well as discussions and building time to work on any projects you may want to suggest. The first workshop was on Wed 17th lead by Michael Gurevich - Wii Remote hacking using Max/Msp
Future workshops include topics such as;Microsoft Kinect, Introduction to Arduinos, Hacking USB devices as interfaces for Sound & VisualsSolderingDesign Processes… and many more to come.
Still not that interested?
There will be free pizza…Boom.

Take the bus or park behind the Pierpoint commons and the theater (walgreen drama center). They have metered spaces there. Short walk to Duderstadt then.

"Walgreen Drama Center" sounds like a section of the store in which to buy passive aggressive greeting cards, laxatives, and earplugs.
