While you're all out having fun at the party tonight, I'll be catching up with some family that I've sorely missed while on a rather demanding project for the last 2-ish months. What you should also do it goad one another into filling out this survey so we at AHA can bring our wealth of teaching experience up to i3 and maybe even keep our bills paid over the holidays.
Here's what we know so far:
75% of you pretend you know what you're talking about in public. Judging by some of the respondents, you are more modest to internet forms than in real life.
Resoundingly you all support ruby over python (sad face!) with 50% wanted a ruby class, and 38% explicitly NOT wanting a python class. (A reminder though -- it's harder to robot with ruby.)
Nobody gives a shit about TDD. Or Haskell.
You think sinatra might be interesting, probably because it has ruby next to it.
Despite being admittedly novice programmers, ~40% of you think you can learn to create mobile apps from scratch without knowledge of java, and then attach those to a web service. I see you all like challenges!
Exactly 1 of you likes javascript.
You are overwhelmingly interested in git, and are tepid about vim.

So, go fill out this form, and let's teach you some tappa tappa at the codings so you've got something to do while you're snowed in.
