Someone from this group recently replied to a post of mine on the publiclab.org PLOTS listserve. I'd never quite seen a group like it - possibly a new model career path for your scientists / technologists. It's something I've been thinking/talking about for a while (like at the most recent nerd nite), but these guys seem to be creating what might be a viable model.
