Droogs,

I have come into possession of a gift certificate to Stadium Hardware,
and plan to blow part of it tonight on an adjustable-heat soldering
iron and a glue gun for the shop. If not, I'll find something else
nice (suggestions welcome).

Would anyone like to come along? I get off work at 5ish, and would
especially love a ride out there.

dang, thanks for buying stuff for the space!

hrm... I think we already have a glue gun and glue sticks at the space, though more sticks are always welcome. I saw a girl using them last night.
And I believe Nima just bought an adjustable-heat soldering iron.

Other suggestions?

Needle-nose pliers?

Spinny McToolsquid is going to need some small metal plates to connect armature joints.  Something 3" in height and 4" in width, no more than 1/8" thickness would do nicely.  Although if we can't find these, we could also use wood plates for now.

And there is also a notion of coating the ceiling of the hackerspace with tin foil or silver paint for extra reflective luminescence.

I thought we already have like 8 pairs of needlenose pliers? I had a
hard time finding a regular pair the other night, so maybe I'll get
some kind of set with a hardcore pair of wire snips as well. Some
tinfoil may appear, particularly as that will be useful for my
juggling project.

I'll go see if I can take those things off of the "what we need"
page...

You know, we need a "what do we need" wiki on the website. I'll go make that now.

I wouldn't use any of the wikis or pages on the googlegroup. They're pretty much dead. I'll get rid of those now as well.

correct, we have needle-nose, we do not have blunt-nose.

I know there's 1 pair of blunt-nose vice-grips floating around, but vice-grips are so useful that we could certainly do with another pair.
