Notacon!

Hello!

Anyone here planning on going to Notacon (http://www.notacon.org) this
year, and have not registered yet? :) I'm looking for a minimum of two
individuals to go in with me on a group registration at $75/ea.. I'll
have at least one extra seat in my vehicle as well (assuming you don't
mind chipping in for gas and getting there Friday, leaving Sunday). AHA
invades Cleveland... fun times ensue!

I know that ech0 likes to go every year and I am leaning towards it,
however I may not be able to get time off or may not even be in this
part of the country when that happens so I won't be able to buy in
till rates go up :(

If any one is on the fence I highly recommend going. it was a
stimulating mix of music, pixel art, hardware hacking, and education.
each talk has a break out room for extended q&a and they have 'balls'
energy drink on the complimentary refreshment table. it is a small con
with many opportunities to talk to presenters and staff at just under
200 attendees last year, I had many passionate conversations. they run
their own radio station, usually have a lock-sport room and have made
a tradition of setting up a hacker-space with many spare parts in the
middle of the con complete with badge hacking and
demo-seen/music-video competitions (ech0 and I won a prize by default
last year). did I mention the badges are SoC break out boards? tickets
were $120 at the door last time so this is a great deal.
