I've been working on putting my thoughts together in a big infographic about the Maker movement (or Hacker movement, or DIY movement, or Post-scarcity movement, or whatever-you-prefer-calling-it movement) and Geek empowerment:
I want it to have lots of lots of links embedded in the graphic it so that someone who's interested can immediately click to examples, and then engage in that community.
But I need help getting all those links! So take a look at the infographic and add to the below spreadsheet any awesome, motivational, engaging links that you think associate well to a picture, word, or shape. There can be many links per object, so don't worry if someone already added a link or two. I included a few examples at the top of the file.

Feel free to share this with anyone else you know who might share this perspective. And if you are a graphic design type and you're willing to share your wisdom on how to make it look nice and polished (or just revamp it if it completely sucks :) please give me some tips or download and play with the .svg.
