Hi All

I started a meetup.com group a few months back called A2YDIY. Not trying to promote. Just looking for places that might be open to being venues for events and AHA crossed my mind. We've done mostly "girl" crafts so far but are looking to expand into a wide variety of DIY activities. We're working on trying to get more events scheduled and I was wondering if we could schedule a monthly event at AHA. We've got a bit of a list, and I'd need a few days to get the details of the first event figured out. But we're hoping to have more events starting in March. Please let me know if any of these nights would work (about 6/6:30 till 8/8:30/9)..

3rd or 4th Monday

1st or 3rd Wednesday

2nd, 3rd or 4th Thursday

Don't really have a preference of day, just looking for something that we could have on a monthly basis. Just trying to set up a few monthly events at a few local venues on a more consistent and regular basis.

Thank You!
Sarah

Hi Sarah - This sounds like an excellent use of the space! I'm not sure if you have been down to the space lately but we have a fairly decent craft section that we'd love to see used more often.

How big are you expecting your meetings to be? Some days may work better than others depending on size.

Thursdays are generally okay as those are already public nights. We start getting a bit busy as the evening goes on (8pm+) though. We're not normally open to the public on Mon/Wed but if Thursdays don't work we can try to make it available during that time. Send me an email off list to discuss times and I'll make sure to get your group on the calendar.

Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Regards,
       Tyler

AHA folk - Are any of you members of A2YDIY already?
