I have set up Trac 0.11 together with the Agilo plugin (from source)
but unfortunately I have serious performance issues with presenting
the product backlog.
It takes roughly 1 second for each requirement in the backlog before
it's loaded meaning that it takes about 10 seconds to show a backlog
with 10 requirements and so on.
I have tried running it both as plain cgi and mod_python and I have
tried using both sqlite and postgresql but the problem remains.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Best regards
Martin

That is definitely slow :-) There are some threads in the group related to performance, one of the most common causes is the usage of an old version of Trac < 0.11.3 and an old version of Agilo < 0.8.2 where some performance issues have been addressed :-)

Which system are you using? can you paste the system info from the "about" page :-)

First we will need to identify the Problem :-)

Thanks for your very fast response!
I am using Trac 0.11.1-2.1 on Debian together with Agilo 0.8.3 and if I understand you correctly that might be the problem. I am currently trying to upgrade to Trac 0.11.6 but now I get some other error message when accessing the site:
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'strip'
Once I've managed to resolve that I will check if the performance issues have been solved (by the move from 0.11.1-2.1 to 0.11.6).
Btw, do you have any good tip on how to solve the AttributeError problem as well? :)
Best regards
Martin

There has been some talk in the group also about that if I remember correctly :-) So search, is something that Google can do well ;-)
Definitely the Debian 0.11.1 is a known issue... :-) Update also to the last version of Agilo where we have fixed some other issues... might help :-)
Ok, now when I have upgraded to the newest version of Agilo (0.8.4) the AttributeError problem is gone and so are the performance issues. At least from what I can see right now. :)
Thanks a lot for your great support!!
