Configurable View/Edit tabs?

Hi,

The View/Edit tabs are the most frustrating thing in Agilo. Our server
is not the fastest one, and when you click on a ticket you will come
to the View tab. Then you have to click on the Edit tab and wait.

What do you think of having the View/Edit tab buttons configurable in
the Admin section?
Personally I prefer the pure Trac behavior (without tabs).

What do you think about this?
If I do a patch, would you accept this in your repository?

To me it sounds reasonable but please consider writing some functional
tests as well.

As our trac environment is not the fastest either, this 'feature' is
most annoying.

That sounds really great! We just tried Agilo and having View/Edit in
tabs was reported to be the single really annoying thing.

There were some reasons to have 2 tabs, that now thanks technology
improvements can be overcome, so we planned a "Quick Win" to review
the whole ticket editing process, it should be available by the end of
August, looking at the current backlog ;-)

We too are looking to remove the edit tab.  Has there been any progress on this?
