Does anyone know an even where facilitators can upgrade their skills and
get inspired by others experience and participation in different activities?
After my inspirational story about Play4Agile several colleagues of mine
are willing to develop themself as facilitators and we are seeking for the
event simillar to P4A by the spirit and level of engagement.
So far I consider attending InnovationGames course and participation in
ALE2012.
Will appreciate for any other ideas.

Great suggestions and I would give a +1 to the Retrospectives Facilitators
Gathering. This open-space format gathering alternates between the US and
Europe each year and has a mix of highly experienced and emerging
facilitators (primarily with an agile background). I attended the 2009
gathering and still use much of what I learned there. Hoping to attend the
2013 gathering when it is back in the US.

I follow your calendar for a year and definitely it was the first place I
checked on.
It seems I've missed most of CoachCamp events this year and should wait
until next round :-)
Thanks a lot for sharing the list of courses you attended - good list to
check myself and recommend to my colleagues.
There are couple events that I probably could catch up this year.
BTW, will you attend ALE2012 and AgileEE 2012? Long time since we met, will
be glad to see you again! :-)

cool.

I am subscribed to ALE 2012, although I have to admit, if I compare the
buzz of last year with the silence of this year I am starting to doubt.
No AgileEE for me this year.
like I said, I actually do all my learning while working on the "who is
agile" project

I don't know where you are but there a lots of activities for facilitators, especially the next iaf european conférence in October 2012 (http://www.iaf-europe-conference.org/). The Institute of Cultural Affairs gives different training courses: www.ica-international.org.
I also offer facilitation training. If you want to have a look at our website: www.coactiv.fr (the site is in French though).

Janet Danforth and Robert Moir ( they facilitated the 10th reunion for the
authors of Agile Manifesto) also offer public classes as well. I am
looking forward for their new online class "Collaboration Skills 4 Agile
Projects"

Having just returned from the PSL training that Yves mentions below, I
think it will definitely improve your skills at facilitating experiential
learning, along with lots of other good stuff. I had my doubts about it the
first few days I was there, but the learning I took with me at the end,
plus relationships w/ a bunch of great people, was worth the trouble and
expense.
I also enjoyed Agile Coach Camp, and would like to try the rest of the
events Yves mentions myself someday!

Every year (since 2002) we've held a weeklong, open space, international Retrospective Facilitators Gathering in some location around the world. In 2012 it was in Fladungen, Germany. In 2013, it will be on the US east coast. Our discussions aren't limited to facilitating retrospectives but tend to range broadly over many topics related to group facilitating and improvement.
For more information on the 2013 or future events as it becomes available , I recommend joining the group retrospectives-subscr...@yahoogroups.com and/or joining the Retrospectives LinkedIn group.
