我昨天看了一番以后：

1，AMQP是一个源自金融行业的messaging协议，摩根斯坦利最先提出的，所以效率是它的重心
2，因为重视效率，它是一个二进制协议（虽然我个人认为二进制协议和效率之间的关联性相当可疑）
3，AMQP由一个"财团组织"包括IBM等在顶起
4，AMQP的目标大部分在XMPP里面已经实现了

所以我的整体感觉是，AMQP论简单不如Stomp，论实用不如XMPP。怎么看，也像是"标准是个好东西所以我要有自己的标准"的又一个产物。

twitter如果用ejabberd，岂不是有更多的联想空间？
