I read the book "Death by meeting" by Patrick Lencioni, as I wrote in
previous mail, the book is very good and interesting. Here I want to
ask whether anybody read "...Dysfunctions of team..." by the same
author ("Five Disfunctions of team", "Overcoming Disfunctions of team"
etc. - and by the way, is here big differences between those books or
it is some kind of "next edition"). Maybe you know something about
psychology aspects of team building... I have found in internet-shop
russion edition of "Team playears: be your best... and beyond", but
still think about "to buy or not to buy" :).
Maybe you can advice something interesting about "team" ("Peopleware"
by Tom DeMarco I have read).
Thanks in advance,
Maxym
I think each book on agile is very much about people involved in the
project - the teams.
I am very much enjoying Alistair Cockburn's 2nd edition of Agile
Software Development: The Cooperative Game.
http://www.amazon.com/Agile-Software-Development-Cooperative-Game/dp/0321482751/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/102-4921890-3092931?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179526845&sr=8-2
It is about building agile methodology but covers lots of interesting
topics on individual and team psychology.
Also you may find interesting "the new thing" called Holacracy - it is
a way of building agile enterprises by means of interdependent teams
with members from different company's levels. See holacracy.org for
more info.
