Hi,

About running Agavi on IIS7. Is this possible? Does anyone have
experiecence of this, or can advise about any potential problems? One
thing that already I'm not sure about is URL Rewriting. The host
(GoDaddy) apparently supports the Microsoft URL Rewrite Module. Can I
check if this would be compatible with Agavi, or if anyone has advice
about how to get it to work, that would be great. I'm only really
familiar with .htaccess rewriting, and I'm not sure what I'm doing
with IIS.

Thanks,

Michal.

IIS *should* work, but I haven't tested IIS 7 yet (I only tested IIS
5.1 a long time ago).

We have the necessary licenses etc, I'll just need some time to test
it thoroughly. If there are problems, we will fix them. This might
take a couple of days though (not sure if I can get around to doing it
this week).

Does that sound okay?

That would be great: although this site is very small and in fact
needs to be done by the day after tomorrow! For this one essentially
it is a static site with some contact forms: no database or "proper"
dynamic content etc. As Agavi hasn't been tested on IIS7 yet, I think
this time I will just go down an old-style one-script PHP route for
the contact forms.

(But thanks: I am slightly shocked, but pleased, that you would test
IIS 7 on the whim of someone posting on the list...)
