This is the 5th time the congress will take place, the first time being in 1999. In those interim years the fields of Men's Health and Gender Medicine have grown and developed into scientifically accepted and socially relevant fields of medicine and public health.
Please find enclosed the 1st announcement of the congress, as well as the scientific program.
One of the highlights of the congress - besides the excellent scientific program - will be the Gala Evening on Saturday, September 22, 2007.
This evening will be the lauch of a new initiative from the ISMH: mission healthy men: Initiative Women and Men against Prostate Cancer ( www.mission-healthy-men.org; the website will be online shortly).
This initiative, with the aim of creating awareness, is supported by famous ambassadors and enterprises. For further information, please see enclosed folder.
We encourage you to include the WCMH'07 with it's very special Gala Evening in your diary and hope that you will join us for an exciting and informative weekend in Vienna.
