It would be a fun thing if we could save more than one template.
Currently there is only one template available for the entries and
being able to save more than one and consequently using more than one
is something users may like.

It's a feature I used on my old diary site, also mainly for backup
purposes. I could select the original template immediately if I botched
the new one.

I like the idea of letting the user have one or maybe two backups.

As for a different template for each entry that would not be too hard
to do with the backup templates, but think about if you are browsing
through a persons blog and it has 3 different templates that are
extremely different, that would be kinda of annoying to me and I would
probably not want to read any more from that blog/blog site.

The backup is definately a good idea though and one we will look into.

Yeah, I guess that is reader preference. Same with the music inside
blog feature where I will click away when I cannot stop it. I saw the
template thing happen quite a bit on Diary-X (I know I mention this a
lot, but it's all I know, sorry), so it was a feature that was used.
Oh.. before I forget, there was this option there to set a certain
template as default as well, basically meaning that when you were tired
of one template you just switched the whole blog to another.

Currently you can do that too by changing to a different standard
template, but then all your customizations for the formerly used
template are gone since it simply switches to the basic one. So it
would be like that, but then with a custom template.

More templates for different blogs...nah. Members and visitors will get
confused on whos blog they are viewing.
