Subject: Custom Kanjidic dictionary
I have found this excellent tutorial on how to install Aedict on PC
(in android emulator): http://shinobukaneko.blogspot.com/2010/12/running-aedict-in-desktop.html
Marc has asked on how to use his customized Kanjidic with Aedict. I
wrote the answer, but for some reason the blogging system rejects my
comments. Therefore, I'm posting it here.
If you wish to use your customized Kanjidic with Aedict, you can use
the Indexer to index your kanjidic:
1. download and unpack aedict-indexer-x.x-zip.zip
2. run ai -f PATH_TO_YOUR_KANJIDIC -k
3. Unzip the created kanjidic-lucene.zip file to your SDCard to e.g. F:
\aedict\index-kanjidic\ (see http://code.google.com/p/aedict/wiki/FAQ
for details)
Feel free to contact me if this tutorial does not work for you.
