I was surprised that it is not instant up and running ...Curious to
see how my lead time before placing the ad...how long did it take
before your ad was approved and running?

My add took a couple of days, I've only been using adwords for 48
hours and I've already learned it's all on how you play the game. I
first had my budget at $50, no impressions or clicks.  Then I changed
it to $75 and changed how much each click was worth and made more ad
variations. Now within 24 hours I haven't received any clicks(so the
service hasn't paid for itself yet) but I have had over 50
impressions. So at least people are seeing it.
