Subject: AdWords Help Charter
Welcome to the AdWords Help group! In this forum we hope that you will
search or browse for answers, ask questions about AdWords, and make
good use of your own AdWords expertise in order to assist others.

While this forum is intended as a place for AdWords users to assist one
another, from time to time a Google representative, nicknamed
AdWordsPro, will post tips and clarifications. Apart from AdWords Help
Owner, AdWordsPro is the only Google representative that posts to the
group.

Please read on for some guidelines and tips for making the most of your
experience here.

Discussion Etiquette:

1. Keep it clean and appropriate. This group is for users of all ages
and backgrounds, so please do your part to encourage appropriate
language and discussion. And let's aim for an upbeat group too, while
we're at it.

2. Keep it safe. Remember, your posts may be widely read - so don't
make the mistake of posting personal information of any kind.
Especially, do not post your AdWords account ID or password, your
mailing address, your phone number, or your credit card numbers. No
Google representative will ever ask for this information in group
postings.

3. Be polite. Please be polite to your fellow group members, and
especially to those who may be new to AdWords and this group. Although
they may not be as experienced as you are, they certainly deserve a
safe place to learn and offer their viewpoint. Please note that posts
which include strong personal attacks on other group members may be
removed without notice by AdWords Help Owner.

4. Post your message only once. Please select the most relevant
category for your message and post it only once. We'd like to keep
this forum user-friendly and free of spam. If your message appears in
more than one category, the additional instances may be removed without
notice by AdWords Help Owner.

5. Respect privacy. If you decide to quote an email that you received
from AdWords Support, please refrain from including the name of the
Support Team member. Also, please do not post personal details
regarding other members of this community.

AdWords Help Guidelines:

1. Before you post a new question, please search or browse for the
answer in the group's archive, and/or in the AdWords Help Center at
https://adwords.google.com/support. Your question may well have been
asked and brilliantly answered before.

2. Please do not use your screen name as a means to promote your
products or services. AdWords Help Owner may ask group members to
modify overtly promotional (or very long) screen names.

3. Likewise, if you use a signature, please do not employ it as a means
of overtly promoting yourself, your products, or your services. In
addition, as a courtesy to other members please keep your signatures
short and sweet. AdWords Help Owner may ask group members to modify
overtly promotional (or very long) signatures.

4. Please note that posts which are primarily intended to promote a
product or service - or which are unrelated to AdWords advertising -
may be removed  without notice by AdWords Help Owner. Repeated postings
of this nature may be cause for a review of membership status.

A Few Last Words:

1. Please be certain to read the Google Groups Beta Terms of Service,
available at
http://groups.google.com/intl/en/googlegroups/terms_of_service.html, as
these are the guidelines under which AdWords Help will run.

2. We believe that this diverse group of people with a strong common
interest will naturally build a safe and productive community, without
the need for formal moderation. However, should you see a post in the
forum which you feel is counter to the health of your community, please
be aware of how you may take action, as outlined on this page:
http://groups.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=7900

3. Enjoy yourself, build a great community, have your AdWords questions
answered, be helpful in turn - and become an even more successful
AdWords Advertiser!
