Subject: Activating ads
All of my ads have been dicontinued because I get a note saying
"Destination URL not working"  What can I do to make my URL work?  I
have been out of business for 3 weeks because of this problem.

Hello buddypet,

By far the most common reason for a destination URL to be disapproved
or to return a 'page not found' error is that a tiny (and un-noticed)
error was made when the URL was entered into the system.

Even the tiniest error, such as a space, a repeated character,
transposed characters, a missing character, a non-standard character
etc. will result in the URL not working. And, over the years I've
noticed that folks are so familiar with their own URLs that they can
no longer 'see' them accurately when typing and proofreading them.

For this reason, I suggest that advertisers copy/paste the URL
directly from the intended landing page into the entry box in your
AdWords account, rather than type it 'by hand'.

Perhaps the second most common reason is a repeated 'http://' at the
beginning of the URL, like so:

http://http://brokenURL.com

Assuming you have a Standard Edition AdWords account, here is how you
would view and edit your URLs:

* How do I edit my display URL and destination URL?

Quoting from that page:

To edit your display URL and destination URL:

    * Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com.
    * Click the campaign that contains the ad group you want to edit.
    * Click the appropriate ad group.
    * Select the Ad Variations tab.
    * Locate the appropriate ad and click Edit.
    * Change the URL fields as needed.
    * Click Save Changes.
