Subject: Re: Content Netwark YES/NO?
Yeah, I need to clarify.  I swear I thought I ran a Search network only
campaign like I often run Content network only campaigns all the time.
What I must have done to essentially get that effect was run 2
campaigns with the following checkbox settings:

Google only:
[X] Google search
  [ ] Search network
[ ] Content network
  [ ] Content bids

pseudo Search network only:
[X] Google search
  [X] Search network
[ ] Content network
  [ ] Content bids

Now, the ad groups in the 2 campaigns were identical, except for 2 key
differences:
1) Different names, i.e. Foo | Google vs Foo | Search Network
2) Different query data in tracking URLs, i.e. _gt=G vs _gt=S

Obviously, whatever naming and tracking conventions you use will work
fine.  The important difference between the campaigns is that the
budget was set lower for the Search network campaign and the CPC bids
were *much* lower for the ad groups in that campaign.  So, when those
keywords went head-to-head on Google, the Google-only keywords won.
