What causes the account balance to be negative

Because there are a large number of accounts on our end that have negative account balances (which is the account budget you mentioned), and users can continue to consume, I am not sure why the account balance (which is the account budget you mentioned) has negative numbers. According to the rule you described, if an account's budget remains 0, it will not be consumed, But a large number of accounts on our end have encountered the problem of negative account budgets. What is the reason for the negative account budgets?

Regarding the negative balance in your advertising account. Please note that since the API mirrors the UI, if this is visible in Google Ads UI then it will return the same in the API. In line with this, upon checking the account you provided, it appears that it has been suspended. With this, we would recommend reaching out to the Google Ads Product Support Team as they are the appropriate team for concerns with regards to suspended accounts.

Furthermore, in relation to the second email where screenshot was provided, could you please provide more details or full context regarding issues that have been encountered from our Google Ads API or elaborate more on how we can help? I ask this so our team can further investigate or provide accurate recommendations on this.

In addition, you may also provide the following information:

  • Complete (request and response with request-id) logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links.
  • Complete or un-cropped screenshots from the Google Ads UI (optional)

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.
