Retreive gclid and item_id through click_view report

Hi,

We are running  a large number of Google Shopping PLA campaigns.

And we would like to retreive through the Ads API which products (Item ID from connected Google Merchant Ceneter) were clicked and what the gclid are of those clicks.

I am trying to use the click_view report from the Ads API (v8) to do this, but this does not give me the Item ID of the product that was clicked.

Is there another way to do this?

Hello! It seems you have expirience with Google ADS API.

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to associate a GCLID to an item_id using the click_view report. That said, allow me to create a feature request, subject for review, regarding your inquiry. For now, you may keep an eye on our blog for any updates or announcements.

As for Vladislav's concern, and for better tracking, please create a separate thread so our team can provide the assistance you require.
