Ya me too wondering the same. What's taking Google so much time to
release the remaining new APIs?
Why this delay. Can somebody update on the release plans for the new
APIs.

Thanks for bringing these concerns to our attention. It is our goal
to make this transition as pleasant as possible for our customers, and
this kind of feedback is important to us.
Although there is not yet full feature parity between v13 and v2009,
keep in mind that you can use the two versions simultaneously, and our
client libraries make it easy to do so. We encourage you to begin
migrating the parts of your code that use functionality available in
v200909, as this will make the transition easier down the road.
We will be sunsetting v13 services in phases and not all at once. The
sunset date of April 22, 2010 applies only to the services for which
equivalent functionality exists in v2009, as stated in the blog post.
As we launch new services (ReportService, AccountService,
TrafficEstimatorService) in the new API, we will give developers at
least 4 months before the corresponding v13 functionality will be
sunset.
Finally, rest assured that v2009 is a fully supported API and the
AdWords API team is available to enable a smooth transition for you

Thanks for your response, but I think you misread my concern.

Hmmm, then what is the meaning of 'Sunset in April 2010'? Can I use
both versions simultanously after April or not?
> Finally, rest assured that v2009 is a fully supported API and the

I'm having doubts about your claim 'fully supported'. Everywhere I
look I see the name 'beta', even the first name of the opening post
says so.
I realize that 'beta' is just a name, but it keeps bringing back
memories of the previous Adwords API betas in 2005..2007. The servers
providing the webservice were outright unreliable. I cannot afford to
go back to that situation - the stakes are high nowadays.
I'm surprised to learn read the announcement that you will cancel a
reliable service, while its successor is still in development - and
the current focus of development appears to be adding extra features,
not increasing reliability.
In conclusion, I have no problems to develop for the new API. I do
have problems deploying software that relies on the new API.
In regards to the sunset, certain services will be shut off in April
2010. Specifically CampaignService, AdGroupService, CriterionService,
AdService, InfoService, KeywordToolService, and
SiteSuggestionService. Rather than wait for the sunset though, we
recommend that you start migrating portions of your code to the v2009
API, and use the v13 API alongside it for services that have not yet
been ported to v2009.
As for reliability, the v2009 API is built on top of Google's
production infrastructure, and you should expect the same level of
reliability as with the v13 API.

- Eric

I've talked with my colleagues, and at this time it is not possible to
retrieve bidding information from the TargetingIdeaService. This
information may be exposed in the future, but I can't say if or when
that would happen.

Ok, thanks for anwering in and dinvin inot my last question; then we
cross our fingers for that.
The api keywordtool is pretty useless without cpc figures though. So
you have my vote implementing that one. Can you also pass that to the
developers?
Or is there another way of getting the "average cpc" out with the api?
In version13 its easy.

Any information about the cpc data? I start to think the v2009 api is
not yet of the google quality we are used too?
Lot of issues, errors, non documented or bad documented features?

Hi Eric,
thanks for your answer
is it possible to retrieve bidding information from the v2009 version
anyway now?
I think it can be retrieved from the future traffic estimator api
then?

At this time it isn't possible to get bidding or CPC information from
the TargetingIdeaService. I don't have any information at this time
about if or when that feature will be available.

Thats a pitty,
CPC metrics are importedn to do good kewyord research. I think this
tool only can get into production with all that metrics.
(my guess: I think you guys want to incorporate the bidding tool
figures also into it, thats why that takes longer)

I too am really disappointed to see CPC isn't included. This
completely breaks any tools we previously had to locate new keywords
for campaigns. It would be wise for the team to add these features
before disabling access to KeywordToolService.
My additional question: is there any way to get average last monthly
searches with TargetingIdeaServices like we previously could do with
KeywordToolService (http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/developer/ KeywordVariation.html)?
