hi!
im a developer and my customer was asking if theres any way to get the
invoices through the API instead of logging in to their hundrets of
client accounts.
i think this question is reasonable but do not have a clue how to get
those invoices. the only way i can imagine is to get the cost for all
campaigns and calculate the bill myself but then i might miss some
stuff because campaigns may have been erased or something.
its not the right way to do that i guess. there should be a way to get
monthly invoices through the api.
my c# app connects to the api, gets client accounts and creates pdf
reports for every client containing all campaigns, adgroups and
criteria. i would love to simply add a page containing the bill.
anyone up to tell me a way to get those information through the api? a
way i can be sure there is not missing anything.

thanks, dare.

basically all i need is a financial report. but it looks like its only
possible to request statistical reports through the api.
or is there anything implemented not documented?
also id like to know if anyone does create the bills using the api.
on what basis? is that reliable?
thanks, dare.

I haven't look in detail recently, but I remember we wanted to get a
history of charges / invoices and we couldn't.

There have been some undocumented calls through the API. You need to
look closely at the WSDL. The only one I'm aware of at the moment is
getCreativeStats, although there have been more in the past.

Rich.

I am sorry but this functionality does not exist in the api.
Thank you for the suggestion: other api users have also made it before.

Patrick,

If you could get this one added, then our Finance Team would vote you
super hero of the year. They might even hang up posters with your photo
;-)

Yeah!
I just looked into the accounts and found out that Google doesnt even
charge for a whole month, every month. It seems to depend on the
Campaigns etc... So even if I could be sure to not miss anything
deleteted or added or not used or... ...i would never be able to get
the sum the customers see on their bank statement through the API
without logging in the web interface to have a look at the acquisition
period.
It takes accountance like min. 3 minutes/customer I guess to
download/process the bills - thats some hours of work they could save
if i not only would manage to inlcude the Invoice in the pdf´s but
also could add the invoices to the accounting system.
They would even vote you president I guess ;)
