Ad size for iPad

Dear All,
We are showing Adwhirl ad successfully on iPhone.
We want to show it on iPad also. Ad size we are getting in iPhone is
320X50. I read some posts and got the ad size for iPad is 728X90. Is
it compulsory ?? I mean to say, can I change the size of ad like
300X50 or something else. Please suggest.

Hello Om,

AdWhirl only provides support for 320x50 banner ads out of the box. iPads support the 728x90 ad format; it may look like a more natural size ad for iPad, but 320x50 ads are still acceptable on iPad.
