Subject: Join the Summer of Solutions in 2012!

Dear friends and colleagues,

Please see the email below for a summer leadership opportunity taking place
in cities across the U.S. The *priority deadline for applications is
tomorrow 2/23* (Note this is different from the date listed below).

In Chicago, our program will focus on work in three main areas, empowering
youth leaders to learn green economy skills and replicate projects such as:

   - Expanding our urban yard sharing program to include 3-5 additional
vegetable gardens for use by low-income families
   - Growing our children’s garden program and bringing the food into the
kitchen for our first ever summer cooking classes
   - Launching a worker-owned green infrastructure business to install rain
gardens and other storm-water management features on public and private
   properties

Our colleagues across the country are also engaging in exciting projects in
areas including clean energy, sustainable transit, energy efficiency, urban
agriculture, storytelling, and youth development. Please spread the
application opportunity far and wide and feel free to contact me directly
with any questions you might have!

For more information on our Chicago program, please visit

Thank you for your help and support!

Peter
