Subject: "Barnraising" at Washington Park Farm

Come help with a "barn-raising" ( an event during which a community comes together to do a big task quickly) for Washington Park Consortium and City Farm's new 2 acre farm at 57th and Perry in the Washington park neighborhood on Chicago's south side. Construction jobs may be available for neighborhood residents on a first come basis.

Volunteers will see how a City Farm is built including our special version of raised bed construction.

Hi, Kevin:

I am interested in volunteering for the "barn-raising" in Washington Park.
It would be helpful to have the dates/times that volunteers are needed.

Thanks,
Natasha

Hi Kevin,

I too would like to volunteer for the barn raising event. I tried googling
it but was not able to find any information on the event.

Thanks,
Nyka
