One of the big issues with Mac’s has been the ability to control the
learning environment by locking the students down to only run specific
applications during class or only visiting a specific website. While
there are several options for Windows machines there has not been
anything on the Mac side that would do more than just give you thumb
nails of what the students are doing which is almost worthless as the
teachers want to teach not stair at thumb nails all day. By being
able to say they can only run a specified “word processer” then the
teacher can teach and not worry about the students surfing the net or
playing games. I have not tested this product yet but I have used
their other products in the past and they are solid products.
Right now since they came out with Mac support this June 23rd they are
the only vendor to support Native Mac that I know of!!
