The Jan. 29 It's Your Call view (Pat Perekovich, "Stop abortion")
prompted me to write this letter. The author states, "We don't need to
kill babies and use their dead little bodies for stem cell research of
any kind." I completely agree with that statement.
However, I want to educate the author and other stem cell research
opponents about a small biotech company that has recently developed a
morally accepted technology.
This company, Advanced Cell Technology, has developed its blastomere
technology to obtain stem cells without destroying or harming the
living embryo. Stem cell replacements are on the verge of a vital
medical breakthrough that soon will provide medical miracles that were
thought of as impossible just a few years ago.
I invite everyone to do their own research on Advanced Cell Technology
and its latest technology to educate themselves before making any
blanket statements trashing all stem cell research. There is at least
one stem cell research biotech company performing research using a
moral procedure.

I have also put the link to the letter on Facebook. I told co-workers
that they will be seeing my company on TV and in the newspapers. I
wasn't wrong. I work at Foremost on Spencer.
What should be done with left over IVF embryo's?1) medical waste fire
or Left frozen until unviable?.2) Used Ethically by Advanced Cell
Technology so it can heal Blind Children? ACT has SOLVED the ethical
Problem using Single Cell Blastomere Approach. In laymans approach in
terminology & I encourage others to do DD. ACT takes a 2 day old
embryo that has been donated from an IVF clinic. This 2 day old embryo
has 8 cells, this is the cleavage stage of the embryo ACT probes the
embryo and removes ONE cell. The Cleavage Stage Embryo is then matured
to the Blastocyte stage of life cycle replacing that ONE Cell that ACT
took and refrozen, that Embryo is viable & perfectly healthy & NOT
damaged & or harmed and or destroyed Simply put ACT is performing the

Educating the Zealots and shutting them down is how IMO WE win the
"perception" War. because it is a War. they want millions to suffer
because of unfounded religeous concerns which have no place in the
Scientific world of the 21st century.
The Conversation is over with these Zealots. They will be Dragged
kicking and screaming into the 21st century in 2011 by Geron Corp and
ACT and the USA Agency of the Federal Govenremnt the NIH and the FDA
saying it works. sit down zealots the Grown-ups are in charge and NOT
the boogeyman.

"Simply put ACT is performing the
SMALLEST Blood transfusion."
How much difference is there... People give blood to save lives and
slow suffering.... We harvest organs from donors and transplant tissue
from one human into another to save lives and ease suffering.
I just thought that is was funny that you would use that analogy
because I have been going over that same idea in my mind for a few
weeks now.

The new site www.investorstemcell.com will have a forum for Politics &
Religeon. You can speak you're mind very soon! Use my letters. I
ahve written to 100's of these groups. They would rather take IVF
embryo's and put them in a medical waste fire then have them go
towards to healing blind children. The SCB technique is a game
changer for the perception battle. "if" Rabin is correct and Boston
College and another 117 Methodist Colleges "buy-in" to the SCB
technique then watch out world things are changing.

thanks. it is just that. Taking One Cell and that missing cell
regenerates because of the cellular coding of the embryo, It matures
and is refrozen at the Blastocyte stage.. Humans give a Pint of blood
and that Pint of Blood replaces itself in short order thru the coding
in our bodies. If these IVF embryo's were going to be used to make
children etc then of course never use them for R&D, BUT if not, then
it should mean something.
ACT's technology is performing the smallest bloodtransfusion on the
cellular level. Boom done over. The Perception Battle is going to
heat up starting next week IMO
