Please file a bug. This is what the engineer working on it had to say:
"Bug, I haven't heard of this happening on MBP-Retina. It would be
helpful to see the emulator verbose log ("emulator -verbose ... >
emulator.log") and whether he's using something like gfxCardStatus to
force the system to use the integrated Intel GPU or the discrete
Nvidia GPU."
