your ads are showing but you have four adsense ad units coded.  we are
allowed only three ad units on a page,   the fourth one will not show
up.

The fourth one is also a violation of the AdSense Program Policy so
while Google does prevent the additional ads displaying, if the
additional unit(s) is(are) not removed, they could lead to one's
account becoming disabled so just because additional ads don't display
does not mean one can just leave the additional ad units on the page.

Can you check also for my page?

For example on the right side of description should be Google Link Ads
but it is empty.

http://www.kraji.eu/trip_page.php?lang=ENG&id_name=velika_planina

If you look at source code there is:

<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-6946053936737508";
/* 200x90, created 4/20/08 */
google_ad_slot = "0497175696";
google_ad_width = 200;
google_ad_height = 90;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

On the whole page I have only this google ads links and below
description I show randomly some local ads provider or google ads. So
only one link unit and one ad unit. My site is not copying from other
sites, I am taking all pictures ...

I'm sorry but I can figure out what is wrong, at least I see nothing
wrong on the page itself.

It is just a thought but have you checked [AdSense Setup] -> [Allowed
sites] to see if there might be something there that could cause your
site to not be allowed to display ads from your account?  I doubt that
it is the problem but I can't think of anything else at the moment.  :-

AdSense requirements are on a per page basis so yes, three of a kind
on one page and three on another page etc.

But, please check the AdSense Program Policy to see exactly how many
of each type of ad you can have on each page although generally, you
can have 3 of each kind except for search, which you can only have two
of.

Do check the Program Policy though.

I double check Allowed sites and there is "Allow any site to show ads
for my account"

I saw that today I can see sometimes some ads when i choose english
language cause yesterday I didnt. So I hope it is getting better :)
But most people come from my country slovenia so i hope there will be
ads also when local people come on my page. As I said before
everything was ok in last 3 months except 2 days ads dissapear. And I
didnt change anything in last weeks about settings or on site.

Forgive my ignorance but the language of Slovenia is "Slovak", right?

I think it is but just wanted to make sure.  Assuming it is which
means the language of the site is supported, I still should have seen
relevant ads either in Japanese, geo-located or English, this Google
account's preference.

Of course it could be a language problem still but I have no idea what
it could be.  :-(

> But most people come from my country slovenia so i hope there will be

Very true!  I think though that once the problem is solved though that
your visitors will see ads in their language.

Out of curiosity, what is the content of your site based around?  One
possibility, although I think very remote, is that AdSense just
doesn't have any relevant ads to serve.

Ah, I just though of something, if AdSense doesn't have something
relevant to display, you have your choice of what to display instead.
Have you tried using that option to see what happens? Doing so won't
fix things but it might provide a hint.

Slovakia is ex Czechoslovak republic and they have Slovak language.
Slovenia is ex Yugoslav republic and have Slovenian language, so it is
not same language as Slovak.
But I know a lot of people confuse both countries especially outside
Europe. :)

I know that officially Slovenian language is not supported by Google
but till now I saw quite relevant ads. Also currently if I choose
English language there are 2 (in group of 4 ads) on my page that are
written in Slovenian language and quite locally dependent so not for
foreigners.

But I agree there is probably some language problem. Maybe google
change some setting that have some influence of this.

I don't see problem even if people in my country see ads in English
language, problem is just cause there are no ads.

Content of my site is based around most interesting places to see in
Slovenia. Yes, it could be something about relevant ads also but till
now I have some ads for hotels, camps and similar that still exists
when I choose English language. Maybe google is now more strict about
language?

But it is interesting that now I add another trip and I can see google
ad links when I am on that trip page also when in choose Slovenian
language:
http://kraji.eu/trip_page.php?lang=SLO&id_name=arboretum_volcji_potok...

I am sure that google havent crawled that page yet but anyway it shows
quite relevant google ad links. But for older pages that were already
crawled it doesnt show. It looks that google treat new pages (urls)
differently and show ads.

I am thinking about choice to display something instead of google
ads.

Thanks for help and ideas!

Just wanted to say that i'm having a similar problem as bojan74 in the
last 3 or 4 days.
I have adsense on website which is in Estonian language (Estonian isnt
officially supported by adsense, but adsense units were showing
relevant ads in the past 2-3 months in Estonian language). Now they
are blank
Adsense team must have changed something in their algoritm.

I hope the ads will be back soon

Hey

I have the same problem..

As bojan74 I come from Slovenia and my add units are not displaying
ads. It has been like these for 2 or 3 days. I dont know what is
wrong, because it worked, for several months, perfectly.

Also I have some english blogs, and the ads there are all displayd
correctly. No changes there but Slovene ads just went away.

What is the alternate ad option set to for your ads? If there are no
ads available for your site, they would then do what you set there,
which would be to show a public service ads, show an empty space, or
show an ad from an alternate location...which option did you set?

Dan B, thanks for your reply,  but your question isnt connected to the
problem in any way right now.

I have always used "fill space with solid color" if thats what you
wanted to know

----

My problem:

In the past three months:

The site im using adsense  ads on was successfully showing different
kind of ads (the website is in Estonian language).

In the last 5 days:

The ads have disappeared.

Im not the only one having the problem. It has affected many
publishers who were using adsense ads on websites which language wasnt
officially supported by adsense (Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian,
Slovenian, Hindi. probably many more).

My question is:

Will the ads be back on these sites in the near future?

Yes, I did..
I have the same problem as you guys, from the last 3 months we are
maintaining our daily ads earning but drop to 0, i mean big zero,
since the last 3 days.

Adsense support had reply my inquiry, and they are using Bahasa
Indonesia explaining the reason the ads did not displayed as before.
I have a language-mix content of English & Indonesia in http://www.Gemintang.com,
however as the site get mature and user interact actively, our major
language 'eventually' change from English to local language. And most
ads that displayed is using 'Indonesian' as well, so I don't know why
adsense has not support Indonesian (or other language) yet. Maybe the
demographic or number of AdWords users still not in the level they are
expected.

Adsense had been our bread and butter to support our revenue, I guess
another ways to monetize the website for now is just to play by the
rule:
1. Remove the Adsense for Content, since it's not displaying ads
anymore and against Adsense Program Policy - potentially to account
disclosure which I hope it's not happening for publishers. (Note for
Google : This is a chicken-egg situation, publisher need revenue to
keep developing a quality content including in the area that the
language is not supported yet.)

2. Use Adsense for Referral, im not 100% sure though, if adsense for
content is not available for unsupported language - what about Adsense
for Referral ?

3. Use Custom Search Engine. I never use this before, did it just now
and i found this feature is so cool and can help you add more
functionality for your site PLUS give you revenue.

Just my 2c

I asked google support and first answer was in Slovak language. It
looks they confused it with Slovenia. I did short reply if I could get
answer in English despite I understood also a little what they sent me
in Slovak language but it was just some links to try to find help here
or on adsense blog.
Today I got another reply from adsense support and they told me that
problem is probably with JavaScript :)))
I dont use it on my first page so I think it is nosense. And also I
get some ads when I choose English language on the same "javascript"
page.

So to conclude answer was useless. I am waiting for another reply :)))

It looks that Google change something about keywords/ads/language
connections. Hope it will be better soon.

From the Program Policy,
"ads must not be displayed on any page with content primarily in an
unsupported language"

You might want to remove the ads before your account becomes disabled.

I agree with you despite this Google rule is stupid for me. Cause a
lot of this ads before "emptines ads period" were in Slovenian
"unsupported" language and that ads were perfect for local people that
are looking my site from Slovenia in their mother language. Also all
people here understand English enough well to understand what are ads
for so also to show English ads on Slovenian pages have sense. I hope
that after some time Google will find out that cause if Slovak
language is supported I really dont see sense why Slovenian couldnt
be. Maybe I should try with this question on Google support.
