there is a little thing in my mind. today i saw that there is one page impression in my account on ADSENSE and also there is a conversion too, for which i got 5 $. I dont know actually what happened.
If there is someone who knows exactly, how i got 5 $ for a conversion in adsense. Please Help.

Are you sure that it is actual Earnings and not the CPM rate - which is NOT Earnings! If it is, then good on you - nice littele earner as they say. (But I doubt it :-)

I am also surprised to see 1 conversion and a earning of 5 $ in my account today, though i m using referral links of adsense which will give me conversion of 100$ not 5$ , somethings definately wrong with adsense
Yeah I also got $5 on "adsense" conversion...quite weird! Is google going to thank the desperate webmasters and realizing that getting $100 is not really possible? I think it is a gift and support from Google?
I'm hearing there is a change - a two tiered system where we earn $5 for the first $5 the publisher we refer earns and $250 when they hit $100. Sounds too good to be true but that's what I'm hearing out of the Danish AdSense office.

That *does* sound too good to be true. $250 a pop would make a healthy change to my earnings :)
Mind you, Google knows just how many Adsense sign-ups make it to $100 and the fact that they may have implemented a change to pay $5 initially suggests to me it's not as many as you'd like...

saadbinshams, don't forget that even if this new payment scheme is true, your sign-up still has to reach at least $5 (probably within a time period less than 180 days in the new scheme). There are some that don't do this over many months.
google officially announced it.... Wow, its great one. But it will be more fine, if they also tell us that which person has earned his 5$ or 100$, so that we can easily track our records. now, how will we come to know, when and whose share we got?? Still a question... What can we do? It's a human nature. Humans Always want MORE.....
