Extra impressions come from cacheing servers which don't strip your ad
code. Most cacheing servers or proxy servers read your page and strip
out your google ad code and replace it with their own.
The static reporting is currently a problem in Cleveland Ohio at 2:41
PM EST. I usually have 50 or more clicks by this time of the day and
as of almost 3PM, I have 2. I emailed Adsense Support a few minutes
ago and kind of think that they are getting bombarded with email
messages from people who must have thought that their accounts had
been frozen or discontinued.

GIVE IT TIME. My god how fast do you think they could go through back
logs.
First get the system running to prevent further backlog... then work
on back logs.
Glad to see so many who make their earnings this way have a complete
lack of patience and understanding to how things work.

Ding Ding Ding! Give this man a cigar. If the ads were served,
there's a log of them being served, and the log will eventually make
it's way into the reports.
I think our biggest concern, was first, is it only my problem, and
then when we found out that there was global issue, we just want some
kind of confirmation that the lost reporting is not lost revenue. I
can wait as long as it takes. I give Google a lot of credit for what
they do. Personally I think they'll get it straightened out. All we
want to know is were those clicks recorded.

Google has said they know it's going on, they have people working on
it, and they'll report back. That was 37 minutes ago.
People, give them a chance to get to the bottom of this and make some
progress before you go making suppositions you have no proof for (like
they lost or did not record the click data) or WHINING because they
haven't completely fixed it in 45 minutes.
If they come back and announce that everything is fixed and everyone's
accounts should be back to normal, and yours isn't, then complain.
Until then, be cool.

Guyz be happy
am from Kuwait
I think the problem was solved,
and as I can see now the rate is better .. almost doubble
I think this what I deserved from the beginning
and I hope it increase even more.
congrats everyone,
more money guys is comming,
I think this after google bought doubbleclick.com so they doublled our
revenue too :)
No, the problem isn't solved. At this point it is obvious that they
have a significant data corruption problem. They aren't saying
anything because I'm sure they are scrambling to figure out what
happened. My guess is that they will work to make sure the system is
working going forward but will not be able to recover the lost data.

It's so nice here in Germany! My conclusion is that this is a central
Google problem originating somewhere in California... Okay, SF, Bay
Area and San Mateo are also nice - but different.
I also experienced static display from sometimes this morning up to
two hours or so ago. Seems that people have been getting up late today
and pushing impressions and clicks right now.
Seems that Google is backing up the missed statistics now. I'll
watch / readthe news in the next days...
I've just received an update from our engineers: they're still working
on resolving the issue, but they have confirmed that no statistics or
data have been lost from your accounts. I'll let you know when I have
more info about when you might expect to see updated stats. Again, we
appreciate your patience.

No No Thanks to you Stephanie and your whole AdSense team... you have
changed the face of publishing forever...you have allowed the market
to speak and carry a big stick... their support or non support of
information and entertainment without the filter or prejudiced of ad
buying "experts"...so take your time and fix the problem...you have a
world-wide fan club like none other before!
