Hi,
I tried to verify my phone number three times and each time I got the
call. I pressed 1 as the woman on the recording said and then waited
and waited and nothing happened.
All I could hear was a loud noise like interference and then after a
min the phone hung up. At no time was i asked for my verification pin
or anything, all I could hear was a lout noise. I put in my
verification pin even though I wasn't asked for it, but that didn't
work obviously. I am using a touch tone phone. I wrote to google and
all i got was a generic email saying perhaps there was a technical
problem etc. I tried the following day and the same thing happened. I
wrote again and i got the same email.
Now I can't verify my number because it says "Payment issue - phone
verification failed. Please contact AdSense Support" which takes me to
a form instead of the phone verification panel.
I have written to google but have heard nothing in over 72 hours. Can
anyone tell me what to do?
