I have made some searches for my website through Google. As I click a
link to my site, suddenly I have Google AdSense ads at both the
beginning and end of the body text of my blogposts! I don't want ads,
especially when it compromises my account which is a free
wordpress.com account that does not allow any ads. I want to get rid
of them, can anyone tell me what has happened?
Read more about it here on my blog: http://webmurdersinc.wordpress.com
This is not the work of Google, imagine the uproar and the bad
publicity they would attract if they went around hacking into sites
and adding adsense code, and the time it would take them to do it so
the ads are positioned well.
What is the url of the post/comment in question that has the ad code
on it?
Was it just on the one post, did you check others?

'To support the service we may occasionally show Google text ads on
your blog, however we do this very rarely. In the future you'll be
able to purchase an upgrade to either turn the ads off or show your
own ads and make money from your blog.'
So it looks like the ads could have been placed their by wordpress
themselves, in which case you might want to publically apologise to
Google on your blog as you was so keen to blame them.

Looks like you are right. The ads may very well have been placed there
by Wordpress themselves. I searched their F.A.Q. and only saw that
"user added Google AdSense" is forbidden. It looks sound when the
Google ads was so nicely integrated into my sight with right color
themes and all. It would not be like Google to deliberately hacking
sites this way.
Many thanks for your help! I greatly appreciate it!
