Does anyone know the way Nigerian residents can participate in Adsense
program.

I'd presume they apply in much the same way as everyone else...

If that fails, tell them they're honest and they can take a cut of a
huge sum of money you need to store in their account :)

Yes, you are allowed to do so. Since Nigerian website is not eligible
for Adsense for Content, you need a English website to apply Adsense
instead.
