Google Video Units - "waiting for approval"/"Internal Error"
Hi
I signed up for Google's "video units" a day or so ago, went through
all the email confirmation stuff and linked my AdSense account to my
YouTube account, etc. Now I am seeing "Your account is still pending
approval" and underneath that, "Adsense error: An internal error has
occurred. Please retry your request."
I've been using AdSense for almost a year. How long does it normally
take to get "approved" for the video units or is this just a problem
with Google's database?.

PS: Where do I go to ask Google about this problem?

Great to hear that you are interested in video units.
If you see that your account is still pending approval, you might have
to manually link your AdSense Account to your YouTube account. To do
so, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your AdSense account.
2. Click the "Account Access" link located under the "My Account"
tab.
3. Under "sites", find " www.youtube.com" and click the "grant
access" link.
Your AdSense account should now successfully be linked to your YouTube
account.

still having the same problem.

Thanks Ashley for your help, but I already granted YouTube access to
AdSense, and it still doesn't work.
I found out what the problem is though ...
I live in the Netherlands, and AdSense Video Ads are not available
here yet, I'm sad to say.

I've tried all the advice too, and it doesn't work for me either. I'm
from the UK, where video units are allowed. If I deny access to
Youtube in my Adsense settings, then reallow it...that doesn't help
either!
How can we escalate this to Google's tech support?

your concern.
I am pleased to let you know that this issue has now been resolved.
Now, if your AdSense account is linked to your YouTube account, you
can create video units by clicking on 'Video units' in your AdSense
account.
Yome, I understand that you're disappointed that video units are not
yet available to publishers in The Netherlands. Please be assured that
we do hope to extend video units to publishers in more locations in
the future. We will be sure to keep you updated.

Can you help me with my account? When I try to give YouTube access to
my Google account, YouTube.com and the "Grant Access" option does not
show up... please help me, thank you!

Hello .....I am still not seeing YouTube even showing up in my
Adsense account area to be able to grant access.
YouTube tells me I'm 'pending'....bt they don't show up in my Adsense.
I live in the US.....are video units not allowed here? Could someone
please let me know how or if I can remedy this?

I'm having the same problem! YouTube says that I'm pending, it
instructs me to provide access in my Adsense account, but there is no
button to push is the grant access area. What do I do?
