Hi Sergio, thanks for the great news!

I'm testing the alerts functionality, is there any way to generate "test" alerts, so we can develop against it? The accounts I have access to do not currently have any alerts.

Also, what's the distinction between alerts and the "messages" inbox that exist in AdSense today? Seems like messages are not available thru the API is that correct?

Hi Eduardo,

Unfortunately there's no way of generating alerts at the moment, I'm afraid. Your best bet is just to mock out the response and wait until you or one of your users can test with an actual alert... :-/

As for "messages", you're correct. They're not yet available via the API, but we're looking into whether it would be possible to expose them too, and how.

Actually, I replied too quickly to that last one. Turns out there's a relatively easy way of getting a test alert: log into your account on the AdSense website, go to your Payment Settings, and set your payments on hold. That should create an alert for you!
