Hi,

I have a sandbox account granted and created a new project in API console, activated the Adsense Host API service.
But I couldn't find the sandbox, where is it? I didn't find it in the online documents also.
is there any link or a real testing platform for sandbox?
Or sandbox is only a login account, we do testing at the real Adsense system platform? And the system will recognize this is a sandbox account then will skip push ads or count data....etc.?

I am stuck at this problem....Please help!
Regards,
Leo

Hi Leo,

If you use your sandbox account, you'll have the same API resources, but your ad units won't serve ads.

You can find in the e-mail with your activation link all the documentation you can use to start developing for the AdSense Host API.

Cheers,
Jose

Hi Jose,

I got this email replied, but didn't see any activation link in the email. Is anything missing?

Thanks,
Leo

Thank you for your interest in the AdSense API! You can use the sandbox to get familiar with the AdSense API and test your AdSense implementation before going live with it on your website. The sandbox replicates the live service, letting you simulate creating AdSense accounts and performing operations on those accounts.

To access the sandbox, pass the following credentials in your request header:

developer_email: adsenseX...@google.com
developer_password: XXXXXXXX

Additionally, some operations require you to provide a developerUrl. For the sandbox developer account, this URL is: 'code.google.com'

Here are some resources to help get you started:
Getting Started Guide: http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/gettingstarted.html
Developer's Guide: http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/developer/index.html
FAQ: http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/faq.html
Developer Forum: http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-api
Important: Please note that the live version of the AdSense API is only available to websites with over 100,000 daily page views across user pages. If your site qualifies and you're ready to start developing against the live service, proceed to the instructions at http://code.google.com/apis/adsense/gettingstarted.html.
If your proposed implementation is a good fit for the program, we'll contact you within 10
working days. If you don't receive a response in this time period, we ask
that you wait 60 days following the date of your submission before
revisiting the application.

Thanks again from The AdSense API team!

Hi Leo,

Please disregard that email. It contains old information regarding an old version of the API, and shouldn't have been sent out. I'll be sure to kill the offending process with fire :)

You should have received a welcome email from our team with the right sandbox information, which is simply an account you log into (and an associated developer project). That should have all the information to get you started!

Cheers,
Sérgio
